Shirley Jackson wrote The Haunting of Hill House, which was made into a movie starring the fabulous Catherine Zeta-Jones. But she's probably best known for "The Lottery," which was also made into a movie. Sadly, Zeta-Jones was not in that one.
Great works of literary art can stir the senses, cross cultural boundaries, and enlarge the human spirit. But it's even better when written by sexy people.
